Chocolate Chip Cookies

Recipe by Terry Balme, head chef at The Buck, Honingham, near Norwich

Makes Twelve cookies

INGREDIENTS

120g of unsalted butter
120g of light brown sugar
100g of caster sugar
1 egg, beaten
225g of self raising flour

Pinch of salt
100g of chocolate buttons
100g of Smarties
100g of chocolate chips

Method
Preheat the oven to 180°C

Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add the egg and combine.  Add the flour and salt and mix to form a dough. Add the chocolates and mix well. Roll the mix into 50g sized balls, bake on a baking tray, lined with parchment, for about 10-12 minutes.
