The East Anglian Game and Country Fair is being held at the Euston Estate in Suffolk in September. Find out more

The East Anglian Game and Country Fair returns to the Euston Estate, home of the Duke and Duchess of Grafton, on September 25 and 26.

Food is central to the two-day event and sees a large food hall packed with artisan producers plus the Game Fair Country Kitchen where a selection of the region’s leading chefs will produce some delicious dishes, all with an emphasis on local produce. Norfolk foodie Andy Newman acts as host, and chefs lined up to take part include Mark Elvin from the Elveden Estate, also in Suffolk, and Norwich’s Roger Hickman.

Main Arena displays include the Broke FMX display team who will electrify crowds of all ages with their jaw-dropping stunts and The Horseboarding UK Championships where speed, agility and bravery are all required! Audience participation is encouraged to spur on the competitors, and there’s great entertainment for all the family.

Other great events include the much-loved Dog and Duck show, British Scurry and Trials Driving, Ye Olde Redtails Falconry, gun dog displays, fishing demos with World Champion Fly Caster Hywel Morgan, the hilarious Sheep Show, traditional craft demonstrations, farrier and blacksmith demonstrations and much more.

There are also a range of  ‘have a go’  country activities from clay shooting with John Bidwell’s High Lodge instructors to fly fishing and coarse fishing on the Black Bourne River, ferret racing, archery and paintballing.

There are more than 350 shopping stands with a wide variety of products from fashion and footwear to gun makers and fishing products, plus children’s activities, a traditional fun fair, a craft and gift marquee and much more.

  • Tickets are now on sale. This is a dog friendly event and parking is free.
