Norwich stylist Tamsyn Morgans on making the most of your garden

I hear that some fine weather may be on its way, after a month or so of rain and low temperatures. The garden seems to be a month behind this year, but it has loved the downpours and is now tall, lush and green, with the plump flower buds of dahlias still yet to unfurl their petals. I have also heard other gardeners say that they hope the delay to the growing pattern this year means that garden displays will last longer, and rather than our outdoor spaces looking a little frazzled come August, we will hopefully be enjoying them well into September.
So there is still plenty of time to enjoy those al fresco dinners as the sun goes down, which is one of my very favourite things about summer. Add some magic to your space with flickering tea lights in jam jars, and solar powered fairy lights can be strung across fences and through hedges and trees for maximum evening sparkle.
Many thanks to Vintage Stagers for the loan of some of the props used in these photos.
